Reto de las Labores Olvidadas y el Shalom para Susy.......Those forgoten jobs and Susy's Shalom

Tengo una larga lista de labores olvidadas y sigo encontrando nuevas!!!! Gracias a Mercedes de "Tejiendo en el Sur " http://tejiendoenelsur.com/ me propuse ir terminandolos.
Este top blanco es uno de ellos.

I have a long list of forgoten jobs andI keep finding new ones!!! Thanks to Mercedes from "Tejiendo en el Sur" http://tejiendoenelsur.com/ I decided to finish them.
This white top is one of them.

Era una remera sin gracia, pero su tela muy buena calidad de jersey de algodon, que compre hace unos anios atras con intencion de transformarla. Ahora que algo de crochet ya me sale decidi cortarle lo que no me gustaba y tejerle en hilo de algodon una redecilla de mangas y una puntillita como terminacion.

It was a graceless top, but the fabric was a good quality cotton jersey, I bought some years ago with the intention to transform in something nicer. Now with my improving crochet I decided to chop the part I didn't like and instead I knitted a net for sleeves and a pretty edge for finishing.

Here, what was going on this week.....

Glorious day today! - Hoy un dia glorioso!

Today was one of those wonderful days when I could do so many things and still have energy to do more.....and moreeeeeee!!!
Woke up early as usual (5.30), my early cup of tea, cheque mail, tidy up the house, set the washing machine for first load, one hour walk on the beach, then 2 hours in our son John's apartment for a very deep clean up, went for fruits and veggies shopping, return home for lunch...... and when we were enjoying lunch the mail man knock the door with a great surprise: Adry' s package! Her raffle to celebrate her4 years in bloging, lucky me, I won! http://adryteje.blogspot.com/

Hoy fue uno de esos dias maravillosos en que hago milcosas y todavia tengo energias para hacer mas....y masssssssssss!!!
Me levante temprano como siempre (5.30), mi tazita de te tempranero, chequeo de email, ordenar la casa, set la maquina de lavar para la primera vuelta, 1 hora de caminata en la playa luego 2 horas en el departamento de nuestro hijo John para limpieza profunda, fretornbo a casa para almorzar y....cuando estabamos disfrutando nuestro almuerzo el cartero llama a la puerta con una gran sorpresa: Un paquete de Adry! Su Rifa para celebrar sus 4 anios de blogeo, que afortunada yo, gane !

The most beautiful gifts anybody could expect! one of her famous birds, 2 cute dolls, a key holder, a tiny (mini mini) broche of country dancers so tender, all beautifully wrap in an exquisite organza bag and the most tender letter in her own writing.... I nearly cried.

Los mas hermosos regalos que una pueda esperar! Uno de sus famosos pajaritos, 2 munequitas preciosas, un llavero muy gracioso, un broche super pequenito (mini mini) de bailarines del campo tan tierno, todo bellamente envuelto en una bolsita de organza exquisita y la carta mas tierna con su letra....casi llore.

This is my Dafodil cotton top I just finished. I gave it a final touch with a crochet edging, hope the hot weather comes faster to wear it.

Sunday 31th was our Annual Doll's Show, and as member of our local Dolls and Bears Club I was there to help. So many people came from everywhere!. The locals, from other cities and even from overseas.

I was in charge of greeting arrivals at the door together with other friends.

The Venue was the Concert hall of the Masterbuilders Club, and was certainly pack!

El Domingo 31 fue nuestro Show Anual de las Munecas, y como miembro que soy de nuestro Club de las Munecas y Osos estuve ahi para ayudar. Cuanta gente vino de todas partes! Los locales, de otras ciudades y hasta del extranjero.

Estuve a cargo de saludar a la entrada a los visitantes, junto con otras amigas.

El lugar fue el Salon de Concierto del Club Masterbuilders, y estuvo ciertamente repleto!
