2 Star cushions for my friend Nilsa who just moved to a beautiful apartment.

2 cojines de Estrellas para mi amiga Nilsa que acaba de mudarse a un hermoso apartamento.
Some of my friends asked me the Star Tutorial so here it is.
This time I prepared 5 fabrics, 8 pieces of each.
One of them (the maroon) is double amount.
Each piece is fold-ironed at one end.

Algunas amigas me han pedido el Tutorial de la Estrella, aqui lo tienen.
Esta vez prepare 5 telas, 8 piezas de cada una.
Una de ellas ( el burgundy es doble cantidad.
Cada pieza tiene un doblez planchado a un lado.
8 Bundels are form like this or as you like it.

8 grupos se forman asi o como uno guste.
On a square the size of the cushion we trace lines like this.

En un cuadrado del tamaño deseado del cojin trazamos lineas asi.
On each line machine stitch (some peolpe prefered hand stitches)
this way 2 bundles.

En cada linea coser a maquina (algunas prefieren a mano)
de esta forma 2 grupos.
Hold with pins to make easier.

Is like this when all 8 bundles are attached.

To make the Star open these spaces......

First fold the first fabric-the left side- this way

then fold out half way

Then exactly the same way the right side

The second fabric -left side- fold only once

Cut 4 triangles in one of the fabrics for the corners

Trim each triangle with another of the colors

and stitch to corners this way

The same fabric behind with zipper attatched.
A good stuffing inside and that's all.
