I returned from Paraguay last Thursday and I feel sad and happy.
The sadness of loosing mum but the happiness of been there to close her
eyes.
I would had regreted forever if I didn't go.
It was a hard battle but in all was a mission accomplished and I feel
good about it.
I had a lot of help from family, neighbours and friends which made things
less painful.
Now is lovely to be home with Jimmy.

Volvi de Paraguay el jueves pasado y me siento triste y feliz.
La tristeza de haber perdido a mama pero la felicidad de haber estado ahi para cerrar sus ojos.
Lamentaria para siempre si no me hubiera ido.
Fue una dura batalla y cumpli con mi mision y me siento bien por eso,
Tuve mucha ayuda de mi familia, vecinos y amigos, los que hicieron todo menos doloroso para mi.
Ahora es muy lindo estar en casa con Jimmy.

My stay in Paraguay was made easier thanks to wonderful neighbours like Limpia- I always call her "the Samaritan of Cerro Leon Street", nurses like Raquel who look after mum till the end, her 2 sisters (also nurses) Nidia and Gladys who were always available and helpful.
Marvelous friends like Norma, always ready to take me everywhere- I' ll never forget those drives in the middle of the night to find the Chemist that had one specific medicine that nowbody had it.
I' ll never forget the support from Natividad who made my mum stay in hospital easier.
And she found for me Raquel and her sisters! and Raquel found Tomasa. It was like a chain that hold me in one piece.
My incredible sister Graciela, sisters in law Rosie, Milly and Julie. My niece Myriam! All very supportive and generous.
Same as my aunties Perla and Alicia and uncle Julio.
Great friend Lira and Oscar. Marcial, Teo and Lili.
Lots of cousins who were there for me and each of my friends in my bloging world. Thanks from the bottom of my heart!

Mi estadia en Paraguay se hizo mas facil gracias a vecinos maravillosos como Limpia- yo siempre la llamo "la Samaritana de la Calle Cerro Leon". enfermeras como Raquel que cuido de mama hasta el final, sus 2 hermanas (tambien enfermeras) Nidia y Gladys que siempre estaban dispuestas para ayudar.
Maravillosas amigas como Norma, siempre lista para llevarme adonde sea. Nunca olvidare esas salidas en auto en el medio de la noche para buscar la Farmacia que vendiera esa medicina que nadie tenia.
Nunca olvidare el apoyo de Natividad quien hizo que la estadia de mama en el hospital fuera mas placentera. Y ella encontro para mi a Raquel y sus hermanas! Y Raquel encontro a Tomasa!.
Entre todas era como una cadena que me sostenia en una pieza.
Mi increible hermana Graciela, Cuñadas Rosie, Milly y Julie. Mi sobrina Myriam. Todas fueron
muy generosas y me ayudaron mucho. Lo mismo que mis tias Perla y Alicia y mi tio Julio.
Gran amigos Lira y Oscar. Marcial, Teo y Lili. Muchos primos que estuvieron ahi para mi y cada una de mis amigas en mi mundo bloguero.
Gracias desde lo mas hondo de mi corazon!
I did a lot of sewing and knitting up there.
Long hours in the hospital, so my needles were clickclacking a lot.
The hours at home my mum's Bernina went hot with new sheets and other home necesities.

Passing through Buenos Aires I had a very resful time in Rosie' home and I could not resist to go to
Scalabrini Ortiz St, good heaven- my wooladdiction went wild.
There was a lot of acrilics and no much 100% wool, but I managed to get some.
My niece Myriam treated me with a nice lunch that day. Life is sweet.

Pasando por Buenos Aires tuve dias mas descanzados en la casa de Rosie y no pude resistir de ir a la calle Scalabrini Ortiz, santo cielo- mi lanadiccion
se puso sin control.
Habia mucho acrilicos pero poca lana 100%, pero consegui algo.
Mi sobrina Myriam me agasajo con un rico almuerzo ese dia. La vida es dulce.
