Nell's Cardigan, Patchwork Table Runners, Granny Squares Cushion, Recycling old towells, Jimmy's Gymea.

To all my dear crafty friends: you are always in my thoughts, even when I don't post anything which is only because I don't find the time. May was particularly busy with Mother's Day, my Birthday and 2 more birthdays in my family. Jimmy organized a get together in a Club so I didn't have to cook and he didn't have to wash the dishes heeee
But I managed to finish a few knitting and sewing projects.......

A todas mis queridas amigas artesanas: estais siempre en mis pensamientos, aun cuando no posteo nada lo cual es solo por falta de tiempo. Mayo fue particularmente ocupado con el Dia de las Madres,
mi Cumpleaños y 2 cumpleaños mas en mi familia. Jimmy organizo la fiesta en un Club para que yo no tenga que cocinar y ni el lavar los platos jeje
Pero pude terminar algunos proyectos tejeriles y costuriles.

Cousin Nell's Alpaca Cardigan is ready. I should take her one of these days.

This Patchwork runner is for Henry's outdoor table

Este Caminero de Mesa de Patchwork es para la mesa de jardin de Henry

This other Patchwork Table Runner is for the coffee table in my family room.

Also a Cushion Cover from a lovely Batik

Tambien un cubre cojin de un precioso Batik.

and this one with 15 Granny Squares Crochet.

Y este con 15 cuadritos grannys de crochet.

With those minor details I changed a bit the look of my family room

Con esos pequeños detalles le cambie un poco el aspecto de mi family room

I used these old towels as backing of some Patchwork Kitchen Cloth

with some padding in between

Estas tohallas viejas use debajo de unas Agarraderas de Cocina de Patchwork con algo de acolchado en el medio.

I had to show you also Jimmy's Gymea Lillies! those 2 tall branches (more than 6 metres)

One already with flower (50cm across)

He is so proud of his Gymeas!

Tambien tenia que mostraros las Gymea Lillies de Jimmy! Esas 2 rammas largas (mas de 6 metros)

Una ya florecio ( 50cm de diametro)

Spring, Cotton cardigan plus instructions, Bags and Cushion

SPRING! BEAUTIFUL SPRING! Flowers everywhere. Jimmy' s Proteas are in full bloom and so many he didn't mind to give me some to bring indoors.

PRIMAVERA! HERMOSA PRIMAVERA! Flores por todas partes. Las Proteas de Jimmy estan en pleno y tantas que esta vez no escatimo en darme algunas para el interior.

My white cotton cardigan is finished. Perfect for this time of the year.

Mi cardigan blanco de algodon esta listo. Perfecto para esta epoca del año.

I wrote this instructions for friends who want to knit one similar.

Circular needles number 3.5 and the yarn was a 4 ply.

10cms=23 stitches

Start from the neck, is recommended thinner needles there.

After the initial rib increase this way: - 1k, 1 increase in the next- repeat.

Then repeat the same way every 5 to 6 cm, according to the size of shoulders.

Three times for regular sizes, one more time for larger figures.

I am 90cm bust, so for me this instructions are correct.

Anote estas instrucciones para las amigas que quieren tejer uno similar.

Ajujas circulares No 3.5 y el hilado de 4 plys. 10 cm= 23 puntos.

Empezar del cuello, se recomienda agujas mas delgadas en esa parte.

Despues del ribete inicial del cuello, aum.asi: _1 punto der., un aumento en el proximo-repetir.

Luego repetir de la misma forma cada 5 o 6 cm, de acuerdo al tamaño de los hombros.

Tres veces para talles regulares, una vez mas para talles mas grandes.

Mi medida de Busto es de 90cm, asi que para mi esta instruccion es correcta.

3 colours afghan, garden, unfinished stars

My sinus is better Thanks God! Thanks also to all of you for your good wishes.
I am recovering my usual energy, so I managed to do some work.
The 3 colour afghan is done! 88 grannys in total- it measures 1.6 X 1.1m
A pale blue grey, white and dark grey.

Estoy recobrando mi energia habitual, asi que pude hacer algunas tareas.
La manta de 3 colores esta lista! 88 grannys en total- mide 1.6 X 1.1m
Un Azul gris palido, blanco y gris oscuro.
